As far back as I can rememb...I have loved history. As far back as I can remember. We live about 6 mls. from Ft. Washita in Ok. It's primary use was as an encampment for the native Americans as they were being moved around. It also served as a school for them for a while. There are of course many rumors concerning the ghosts of the soldiers once posted there. But, you know, when you visit a place such as this, and, if you remain very quite and still.
