Wow that takes me back. Back in '75 my dad and I took a trip to Chaco in our dune buggy. We camped there and spent a couple days hiking around (very carefully, so as not to disturb the site) Then went on to Mesa Verde. What a wonderful summer that was.

I visited Chaco Canyon in 1982 myself. It is a spectacular place which every archaeologist should see.
