Dosta going Obama

Although Georgia is likely to remain a "red state" for many years to come, we do have loyal democrats here, and some of us are actually getting enthusiastic about the presidential primary coming up early in February. Results of an Online Poll reported today by the Valdosta Daily Times show Barack Obama with a narrow lead over Hillary Clinton with John Edwards falling way behind.

Ranking the front-runners in both parties, the poll results favor Giuliani (24.89%) then Huckabee (19.24%) then Obama (15.46%), Clinton (13.40%), McCain (9.11%), and finally Edwards (2.58%). Hopefully, some democrats will get out and stump the south this time around.
