The Glass Site

My friend and colleague at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Dennis Blanton, created a blog to report his excavations from the field this summer in Telfair County. While the project began as an effort to find the site of a Spanish mission called Santa Isabel de Utinahica, the focus of the excavations has turned out to be somewhat earlier and a possible candidate for one of the sites visited by Hernando de Soto.
