Goodluck now governs

Nigeria’s National Assembly voted Tuesday to make Vice President Goodluck Jonathan the acting president.

In his first address to the nation as acting president, All Africa quotes Jonathan pledging to pacify the Niger Delta region and consolidate the gains of the amnesty offered to rebels there.
