Danger of a Single Story

Chimamanda Adichie delivered this talk to the TED global conference back in July of 2009. I was made aware of it only today by Nneoma, a Nigerian blogger who found it a bit pompous. I may be a bit too romantic, but I found the message quite inspiring. It was particularly welcome to hear about all of the things which Nigerians are good at during days when the news seems to be all about their bad deeds.
